About three blocks to Riverside Park and the General Grant National Memorial, the largest tomb in North America. Grant's Tomb (as it is commonly called) is not only the final resting place of the General and wife, but a memorial to his life. He was the genral who won the U.S. Civil War and kept the union whole. It's a very pretty memorial and well worth a visit.
