Membership in the health club is limited to the building's resisdents. It includes a pool table, a driving range, a ping pong table, and a massage center.
The building is between two NYC icons: Grand Central Station and the Chrystler Building. You'll be a short walk to the train station (it's really a terminal but all New Yorkers call it a station) where you can catch a train , shop, or dine at Michael Jordan's steak house or the world-famous Oyster Bar. The Chrystler Building looks fabulous at dusk -- enjoy it from the 52nd floor Sun Deck.
Murray Hill is a quiet residential neighborhood of brownstones and luxury high-rises. Its residential nature was guaranteed by a covenant from the mid 1800s that outlawed any construction not made of brick or brownstone. You couldn't build a brewery or a zoo, either.
Times have changed. Third Avenue is a pub crawler's dream with its old Irish bars and newer restaurants with bars. No one has built a zoo yet, though. |
